Our team of licensed mental health professionals are trained in the Triple P Positive Parenting Program, an effective, evidence-based parenting class backed by more than 35 years of ongoing research and overseen by our licensed Mental Health Director. Triple P gives parents simple and practical strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships, confidently manage their children’s behavior, and prevent future problems from developing. Triple P is used in more than 30 countries and has been shown to work across cultures, socio-economic groups, and many different family structures.

Group Therapy

Beginning in the spring of 2023, the Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center will begin offering small group therapy options to non-offending parents and caregivers whose child or children have been victims of abuse or neglect. While these groups are not open to the public, these weekly sessions will offer the families of child victims the opportunity to find support and understanding among other families and share their similar experiences in a safe, confidential environment with supervision from a trained professional.
